About us

A small studio,
on purpose.

RB.Interactive builds websites and creates social content for small and local businesses. That's the whole offering. We're not trying to become a full-service agency.

01 — Our story

Why we
started.

RB.Interactive started because of a pattern that kept repeating. A local business would pay a few thousand for a website, wait three months, and get something that looked fine and did nothing. No enquiries, no phone calls, no way to update it without going back to the agency and paying again.

The same businesses were also being told they needed to “be on social” — and they agreed, and they meant to, and then a busy fortnight would go by and the account would sit there with four posts from last spring. Not because they were lazy. Because running a business already takes all the hours there are.

So we built the studio around those two problems specifically. A site that's designed to produce enquiries and that you can actually maintain, and a content service that runs whether or not you have a spare Tuesday. Fixed prices, so you know what you're committing to. Direct contact, so you're never chasing an account manager who has to ask someone else.

02 — Who you'll work with

The person
behind it.

Ryan Betts

CEO, RB.Interactive

I started RB.Interactive after seeing the same thing happen to local businesses again and again: they'd pay for a website, wait months, and end up with something that looked fine and did nothing. No enquiries, no calls, and no way to change a price or an opening time without going back to the agency and paying for the privilege.

So everything here runs through me. You speak to me on the first call, I write the proposal, and I build the thing. Nothing gets lost between the person who understood your problem and the person doing the work, because they're the same person — and if a project isn't right for us, I'll tell you on that first call rather than three weeks in.

  • 01

    Fixed prices

Agreed before we start. No hourly billing, no scope creep.

  • 02

    You own everything

Your domain, your hosting, your content, your logins.

  • 03

    Dates we hold to

A delivery date in the proposal, not a rough estimate.

  • 04

    No lock-in

Social plans are rolling monthly. Leave with 30 days' notice.

03 — Two service lines

Why websites and social belong together

They're sold separately almost everywhere, which is why so many small businesses end up with a website and a feed that look like two different companies.

Websites

The website is where people decide

It's the page someone lands on when they're ready to buy. It has to answer their questions and make getting in touch obvious. That's a conversion problem, not a decoration one.

Social Content

Social is how they find you first

It's the top of the funnel and the reminder that you exist. It rarely closes a sale on its own — its job is to send warm people to the website.

Together

One brand, one voice, one handover

When the same studio does both, your feed and your site use the same colours, the same tone and the same photos. You brief once. And we can see, end to end, which posts actually produced enquiries.

04 — Our approach

Your website's job is to grow your business

Looking good is the easy part. These are the four things we hold to on every project, and they're the reason clients get a site that earns its cost back rather than one that just sits there.

  • 01

    Outcome first

Every page has to justify itself by what it does for your business — more enquiries, more bookings, fewer phone calls you don't have time for. If a section looks nice but does no work, it doesn't ship.

In practice that means we start from what you need a visitor to do, then design backwards. It's also why we'll sometimes talk you out of a page you asked for: three pages that convert beat eight that don't.

  • 02

    Direct access

The person building your site is the person you talk to. No account managers, no briefs passed down a chain, no waiting three days for an answer someone else has to go and find.

You get a direct line from the first call to launch and after. Nothing gets lost in translation between the person who understood the problem and the person doing the work, because they're the same person.

  • 03

    Fast without cutting corners

Modern AI-assisted tooling handles the repetitive parts of a build, which means the time goes where it actually counts — layout, clarity, and the decisions about what makes someone get in touch.

Traditional agency timelines are mostly production overhead, not thinking. Removing that overhead is why a site that would normally take three months takes three weeks here, without the quality trade-off you'd expect.

  • 04

    Small on purpose

We take a limited number of projects at a time. That's a deliberate choice, not a stage we're trying to grow out of — it's what makes real attention to detail possible on each one.

Volume studios make money by moving jobs through a pipeline. We'd rather do fewer projects properly and have each one be something we'd point at. It also means we'll tell you if we're booked instead of squeezing you in badly.

05 — How it works

Clear process, fixed price, no surprises

Working with a studio shouldn't feel like a black box. You know the scope before we start, you know what it costs, and you know when it lands.

  1. Discovery call

A free 30-minute call to understand your business, your customers and what you actually need — which is sometimes less than you think. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so on this call.

  2. Proposal and fixed price

A written scope, a fixed price and a delivery date. The proposal lists what's included and what isn't. Anything added later gets priced separately and you decide — it never just appears on the bill.

  3. Design and build

You see progress at agreed checkpoints and give feedback while things are still easy to change. A design preview before code, then a staging link you can click through.

  4. Launch and handover

We handle going live, then walk you through how everything works. You own your domain, your hosting and your content, and you get every login in writing.

  5. Support after launch

Every project includes a support window. After that you can stay on a care plan or just call when you need something — there's no contract keeping you here.

06 — Where AI fits

AI does the
production work.
The thinking
is ours.

Modern AI tooling is a real part of how this studio operates. It drafts first-pass copy, generates layout options to react to, and clears the repetitive build work that used to eat most of a project's budget.

That's what lets us deliver in weeks what a traditional agency quotes in months — not because we're cutting the work short, but because we've cut the busywork out of it. The time it frees goes straight back into the decisions that actually determine whether a site works: what your customers need to see, what to leave out, and what makes someone pick up the phone.

Everything is reviewed, edited and signed off by a person before it reaches you, and nothing reaches your customers before it reaches you. The tools are fast. The judgement about what your business should say, and to whom, stays human.

Good fit?

Book a free 30-minute call. Worst case you get an honest opinion on what your business actually needs, and it costs you half an hour.
